Installation Engineer
Field
Engineer installing, testing & commissioning of Ericsson Equipment
Microwave and BTS, (RBS 2G & 3G, T.N, Mini link, rooftop or green field
& Trunk) which includes the preparation and mustering of materials for
installation, riggings and testing of associated feeders and antennae using
Anritsu Site Masters and installing and termination of cables, PDH, SDH
microwave systems and multiplexers & ALL its related power & Civil
Works.
Requirement:
- Bachelor of Telecom
engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of field
experience.
- Strong team
management.
- Attention to
details.
- Time
management.
- Leader skills.
- Preferred Ericsson
certified.
2- Field Team
Leader / Technician
Main
responsibilities include installation, commissioning, and integration of
telecommunications network hardware and interconnect facilities. The position
also works independently with minimal supervision and provides instruction,
assistance and guidance to other Technicians as required. Perform other duties
as required. Essential functions include:
- Detailed reporting and
record keeping Microwave path alignment.
- Microwave installation and
commissioning.
- RBS installation with all
accessories, Ericsson or Huawei technology.
- Familiar with Site
Master.
- E1 / Fiber
testing.
- Data collection,
installation of RF cables and connectors.
- Installation of DC power
systems including rectifiers and batteries.
Supervision of other staff as
needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Telecom or
seemlier filed.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years
related experience.
- Willing to travel away from
home for extended periods of time.
- Willing to work off normal
shifts if needed.
- Willing to work on cellular
towers.
- Familiar with health and
safety standard.
- Microwave and cellular base
station certifications preferred.
