5 assistant consultant with clinical hematology qualification

And 10 assistant consultant in oncology

The required qualification are internal medicine followed by fellow ship in hematology or/and oncology with experience of 3-5 years. Age less than 40 years.

Job description:

Managerial Responsibilities:

Participates in Departmental Committees as determined by the Director of the Oncology Center or Hospital Administration.

Participates in Quality Improvement projects as directed by the Director of Oncology Center. Participates in self and others education, training and development as applicable.

Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.

Performs any other duties as needed and requested by the Director of Oncology Center.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Participate in patient assessment and treatment under supervision and approval of the assigned consultant / Associate Consultant who has privileges of Consultant.

Participates in clinics and follow up under supervision and approval of the assigned Consultant.

Does on call in house duties as determined by the department. Supervises, trains, and assumes responsibilities for improving standards of juniors. Coordinate with senior colleagues for the management of all assigned cases.

Arranges, attends, and executes specialized diagnostic tests as assigned

Performs other related duties or any other assignments with or without a written request of the Chief of assistants and approval of the departmental Head in case of change of duties taking full responsibility to inform the switch board, ER , and Nursing supervisors .

Covers additional outpatient's clinics of consultant on leave as per schedule under supervision of the covering consutant.

In case of absence or vacation he / she should arrange for coverage of all duties in coordination with chief of assistant and head of department.

Participates in grand ounds , multidisciplinary tumor boards and weekly departmental activities Participates in organizing symposia and workshops related to his /her specialty as needed Does bedside teaching for junior staff.
